Our last collection of wax print clutches was created with our team of artisans in Accra, Ghana in West Africa. Nana Opoku and Sulley Adokor are each small business owners who specialize in handcrafted ladies handbags, wallets, shoes, and accessories, as well as backpacks using fabrics and leathers. I designed my first collection of clutches and worked with these gifted and resourceful artisans, scouring Makola and Cantonments markets to source fabrics, hardware, and other materials to bring these pieces to light. It's a process and a journey that we've just begun to experience and share. Explore our short visual diary to give you a glimpse into how we work.
